Christ Presbyterian Church Parking Agreement - 2025-2026

Agreement and Regulations

The undersigned shall be authorized to park one passenger vehicle in the parking lot at Christ Presbyterian Church subject to the following terms and conditions:

 1. Only personal passenger vehicles may be parked on the church property pursuant to the agreement, and no vehicles other than the one described in the agreement may be parked. If the registered vehicle is replaced, the church must be notified and given updated vehicle information within 48 hours.

2. Payment of the parking fee shall entitle you to park September 2025 - August 2026. Renewal of this agreement shall be at the sole discretion of Christ Presbyterian Church. The parking fee is $600 per year.

3. Each vehicle must have a church-issued sticker clearly visible on the driver’s side of the back window. If the sticker gets damaged or falls inside your car and is not visible, it is your responsibility to replace it. If the sticker is not in the window, you will be ticketed. Replacement stickers are $5.00 and can be purchased from the church office.

 4. Upon notification of special events (weddings, funerals, etc.), all cars must be removed from the parking lot for the period of time specified by Christ Presbyterian Church. A notice will be sent out by the church which will state the date and time by which the vehicle must be removed from the parking lot, and the date and time after which the vehicle can be returned for parking.

 5. All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot from 7am to 12pm EVERY SUNDAY MORNING.

 6. Parking is allowed in the north lot near Sherman Ave and Brearly St. If this area is full, parking is permitted in the southwest corner of the lot where Gorham Street and Castle Place meet.

7. Vehicles must be removed from the lot by 7am when it snows 1” or more, and they cannot be returned into the parking lot until the snow has been completely removed. This may be any time from 10am–12pm, depending on when the snowplow finishes clearing the lot. If you have questions for a particular day, move your vehicle and then call the church office at 608.257.4845 before moving the vehicle back.

 8. Permit holders park at their own risk. Christ Presbyterian Church is not liable or responsible for any loss, including but not limited to personal injury, damage to or theft arising from vehicles parked in the lot.

9. If any of the above regulations are not followed, you will be issued a parking ticket from the City of Madison. A repeat violation will result in revocation and/or non-renewal of parking permit with no refund.

10. No parking spaces in the designated parking area are reserved.

11. Christ Presbyterian Church may, in its discretion, revoke this permit at any time, without advance notice to you, if the church determines that you are not complying with this agreement. You will be given a written notice of revocation.
