Christ Presbyterian Church of Madison is maintained by its members and friends to serve the congregation and the community. Its use is not restricted to its members. All who desire a church setting and who will treat the facilities with respect and care are welcome to apply for building use, subject to the direction of staff and the following guidelines:- A church or staff member must be present in the building for the duration of the event, except by prior arrangement.- You or your organization will work with staff to obtain access for your event and may include the issuing of an electronic fob and/or the automatic unlocking of doors. You agree to not prop open any doors. If your event takes place during a time when the doors are locked, a host must be present at the door to meet and allow participants access to the building. If you are unable to stay at the door, please have a plan in place for participants to contact you upon arrival so that you can meet them and let them in.- No alcoholic beverages or other drugs or smoking are permitted in the building or on the grounds.- Use âChrist Presbyterian Church, 944 East Gorham Streetâ and âcpcmadison.orgâ in publicity and/or directions.- The Gathering Hall is included in the fees associated with the Sanctuary and/or the Chapel as a reception/event area. If your reception/event will be having food and/or drink during this time, there will be a $50 charge in addition to the Sanctuary and/or Chapel fees.- All room capacities were established by Madison Fire Marshall and City of Madison and must be enforced. You agree to not impede building exits or block fire lanes.-No church property may be removed from the building.- Children and youth must not be left unattended in the building. Please make arrangements for appropriate childcare or supervision.- CPC is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.- Reasonable care of the facility and all equipment is expected: please report any damage or breakage to staff and/or member on site, call the office during business hours, or email us at info@cpcmadison.org- Post temporary signage with blue masking tape only and not on painted surfaces. Please remove when event is over.- Please leave the space in good condition, clearing food, residue and leftovers, and ensure that any items moved to accommodate your group are returned to their original positions before exiting the building. Ask staff/member for assistance if custodial supplies are needed (first floor, Janitors Room 124).- We will notify you if circumstances (weather, funeral, other urgent church business) affect your scheduled event.- Parking Lot: 113 stalls (104 standard, 9 ADA). Some spaces are occupied by parking permit holders during the week.I have read the above information and agree to comply.
